In the movie, "My Neighbor Totoro," audience members are usually fixated on the narrative of the two small girls, Satsuki and Mei, and their adventures with Totoro. However, nobody realizes that the susuwatari, or Makkuro Kurosuke, were laughed out of the magical house in the woods and were left homeless! This is their mission in inhabiting a home before they drift away forever...Makkuro Kurosuke needs to find a home!
